Independent documentary filmmaker, writer, film and television historian.
Currently working on a script for a feature-length bio-pic, based on thirty years of research, concerning a forgotten gender-bending gay pioneer entertainer, Ray Bourbon, who worked with Mae West on Broadway, performed for royalty, was the most prominent gay nightclub performer before Stonewall, and was convicted of murder in his 70s. See the links section for more information.
Also working on developing a pilot and show bible for a BBC-style science fiction series that examines how our everyday lives and sense of self would be impacted by time travel.
I have a degree in Public and Applied History. In the 1990s, I produced and self-distributed three feature-length documentaries about the LGBTQ community. I've also been involved in writing about Old Time Radio history and working with volunteer groups to restore original vintage audio drama recordings.
Interested in connecting with like-minded filmmakers and writers.
