Raven Riley is an editor and screenwriter specializing in science fiction, fantasy, and comedy with an avid love for television. With over 11 years of experience as a journalist, writer, and publicity specialist after being in entertainment as a performer for the first 25 years of her life, Raven understands the power of connected storytelling, well-developed characters, and an emotionally intelligent plot that captivates the audience.
Raven has been a ghostwriter, developmental and line editor, as well as a copywriter. Her world revolves around words that connect people to one another, and it's from this love of both language and people that she writes.
Her current projects include:
- Fee: A one hour sci-fi drama, space-age prequel, retelling, and sequel of Hamlet meets The Expanse with a twinge of the Handmaid’s Tale, told from Ophelia’s perspective (feature film version available).
- The Hot Viking Next Door: A half-hour, sitcom series with flavors of The Goldbergs (complete with F-bomb censorship) and Jane the Virgin that sits at a solid TV-14 rating.
