About Samantha

My experience in video production began in production design and I pull from that experience the ability to see the whole picture of the story being told. I not only concentrate on finding the best performance, but I also look at the world around it and how that plays into the mood of the scene.

Before a single frame is shot, I break scripts down noting the technical aspects critical for production and post-production along with the rhythm, pace and mood of each scene and how that plays into the overall message and spirit of the story.

Anyone can edit footage together and create a video, but editing is much more than that. It takes a passion for storytelling, an eye for detail, with a technical and creative mind to edit a story together that’s not only visually pleasing to watch, but an intriguing story that creates a mood, draws the viewer in, and pushes and pulls at their emotions. These are qualities I take extreme pride in having and expanding upon with each project I help create.
