Writer, Director, and Producer “When words spill out…” That’s how one of the film’s charatcters described the state, and so it is.
A journey through a Cairo night between a young man and a young woman, walking and talking: about the everyday, the past with its bumps, moments, and secrets, and the future with its fears. Each gently digs into their personal history, their perspectives, and their critique of reality, of the constant and the changing.

Director Islam Zain al-Abidin is a Sudanese plastic artist, who immigrated to France in the mid-nineties. He was one of the students of the College of Arts that was closed by the Bashir regime in 1991 after the demonstrations they held with other universities in protest against the new regime, through which many students were victims , some of whom were arrested and tortured in prisons. And some of them were separated as Islam. In 2019, Islam Zian El Abidin participated in the Sudanese demonstrations in Europe in support of the popular revolution that began in Sudan. as his interaction with the revolution has resulted in multiple paintings.
Islam reflected to us the first emotions of the distant Sudanese immigrant with the break out of the popular movement in his country, Sudan. In his studio in Rueil Malmaison, he interacts with different relationships that include human, artistic and familial issues , and this thin thread that connects the two dates of 1991-2019 remains. He still has this desire to implement justice, this justice that was absent from the 1991 victims, but, as much as he could, he did not hesitate to support its achievement of the new victims.
