Biography
Hello, my name is Sandra Santiago.
I grew up in New Orleans I always have had a big respect for Jazz music. Then moved to Baton Rouge then graduated high school in Richmond Virginia. My experience comes from childhood to Middle & High School, where I was in dance classes, writing classes, choir, and a science club. I performed in programs where we danced and sang, such as Hey Big Spender. I received my first type writer around the same time I starting writing in the 5th grade. I enjoyed writing skits for Talent Shows, then acting them out. I also I became interested in Advertisement & Marketing, so I would write my own commercials on products, but never turned in to anyone. I loved acting but never had the opportunity to get into the business until my early forties. I have no formal training or college education. But I have my life experience which gives me the ability to portray a wide range of character & emotions. I have started as an extra, then moved on to a background artist utilizing my skills and moved on to a stand in, then a photo double. I secured an Agent and started going on auditions for principal roles, commercials, and music videos. It makes me happy to perform, and make people laugh or cry or several other emotions the human spirit has. I love from start to finish the process of how Movies & Television Series, & commercials are produced. I also had an amazing opportunity to attend a Screen Writers meeting which I learned more about the process from a producer & directors point of view. Since then I have decided to do more with my skills as a writer and am working with others on their projects. Acting makes my life feel like home. It is a sense that this is where I belong.
Unique traits: I've been told I have high cheeks bones similiar to someone with Indian in their bloodline. I can draw from real life to get into character and with emotion needed for the scene.
