About Tonya
My film career started in 2007 in St. Louis Missouri working through Joni Tackette casting. I have worked as a film extra in several movies filmed in Saint Louis with big name stars. My first film, Meet Bill landed me on a movie set filmed at St. Albans Country Club in St. Albans Missouri. This scene was a pivotal one in the movie so everyone was there including: Kristen Wiig, Jason Sudeikis, Aaron Eckhart, Elizabeth Banks, Timothy Olyphant, Logan Lerman, and Jessica Alba. After this job I was an extra in several films after that working on set with well known actors like Lake Bell, and having the privilege working and meeting actor, director, Connie Stevens. I especially enjoyed scenes that included hair, make up, and wardrobe. It is so much fun playing a character. I moved to Kansas City in 2013 and worked with Stephane Scupham from the KC Film Office. I am looking now to enhance my film career and become an apprentice working on sets to learn the trade and all the intricate parts of film making. Film is my passion.
Unique traits: I consider myself an empath. So normally I listen to energy and feel my way through a scene. It gives me a deeper insight and perspective on a set.
