Trent Jackson is an Actor, Singer, and Dancer who has been trained in Theatre and has on-screen experience. He was born and raised in Virginia. He always had an interest in the arts and was exposed to symphonies, plays, museums and art galleries at a young age. He showed an interest in singing at age 11 and pursued his interest in theatre at age 15. His first musical he participated in was his High School's production of Urinetown in 2006.
After visiting New York for the first time in 2006 and visiting again in 2007, he fell in love with the atmosphere, seeing musicals such as Jersey Boys, the revival of Company and Spring Awakening. After being exposed to Broadway and its amazing shows, he made it his mission to become a working actor. He went to Hampton University and got his B.A. degree in Theatre Performance. After his graduation on the morning of May 8th, 2011, he immediately went on a flight that afternoon to attend a two week internship with Creative Minds in Cannes, attending the 64th Annual Cannes Film Festival in France. He acted in one of the student short films made there, and that short film received the first place award.
To this day Trent has received two Television roles, one supporting and one lead, and has been trained in Stage Combat as well as continued his training in Acting and Singing. He also has experience with Improvisation and is looking to train and develop his talent in Voice Acting.
In 2015, he plans to move to New York City to pursue his career and expand his network.
