Jason Lubin is a Manager/Producer at First Story Entertainment. The literary management company represents a diverse roster of talented writers and directors with fresh voices in all genres for Film and TV. The company’s clients have been staffed on shows on multiple networks including Showtime, CW, Apple+, and Netflix, and have sold series to Disney and Max. In the feature space, First Story clients have written films starring Robert De Niro and John Malkovich, sold specs to financiers including Searchlight Pictures and Sony International, and directed projects selected by the Cannes Film Festival. Jason also develops both feature film and television projects under the company’s banner. Prior to starting First Story, Jason was a seasoned Development Executive. He worked at Lynda Obst Productions as the Head of Development & Production and at Lionsgate, where he rose to Story Editor in the Motion Picture Group. Jason cut his teeth as the assistant to CEO Jon Feltheimer and was named one of Variety's Ten Assistants to Watch in 2013. A graduate of USC, Jason currently sits on the university’s Board of Governors as the School of Cinematic Arts’ representative and is a former President of the Trojan Entertainment Network. Q: How do I watch my webinar on demand?
A: You will be able to watch your webinar on demand as many times as you’d like inside your Stage 32 profile. The recording is processed and posted between 24-48 hours after the webinar concludes. You can follow the instructions below.

A: Stage 32 Next Level Webinars are typically 90-minute educational broadcasts that take place online using a designated software program from Stage 32. Your webinar will be taught by a working industry professional with in-depth teaching on a topic. If you are able to attend live you will be able to ask your Stage 32 Educator questions during Q&A.
Q: What are the system requirements to watch my webinar live?
A: You will need to meet the following system requirements in order to run the webinar software: Windows 7 or later Mac OS X 10.9 (Mavericks) or later.
If you have Windows XP, Windows Vista and Mac OS X 10.9 (Mountain Lion): The webinar software does not support these operating systems. If you are running one of those operating systems, please upgrade now in order to be able to view a live webinar. Upgrade your Windows computer / Upgrade your Mac computer.
Q: What if I cannot attend the live webinar?
A: If you cannot attend a live webinar or purchase an on demand webinar, you will have access to the entire recorded broadcast, including the Q&A.
Q: Will I have access to the webinar afterward to re-watch?
A: Yes! Like all Stage 32 education, after the purchase of a live or on demand webinar, you will have on-demand access to the recording.
Q: How do I get a copy of the handouts provided?
A: If the webinar you take included handouts you can find them as downloads underneath your on demand video. You must be logged into your Stage 32 profile to view the video and get the handouts by clicking settings in the top right hand corner, then clicking purchase history.

We're diving into the Writers' Room Pitch Tank with special guest, Producer Regina Lee! She was the production company executive of Fox releases X-Men Origins: Wolverine and Deception. Some favorite TV projects as Executive Producer are an animated comedy pilot at FOX and a drama pilot at BET created by the current showrunner of Queen Sugar, as well as multiple TV pilots with 20th Century Fox TV Studios. She produced two TV movie thrillers that aired on Lifetime. As a production company executive with a deal at CBS Network, she was on the team that sold multiple projects to CBS and The CW, getting a show on the air at CBS. She began her executive career at Universal Pictures, where she was the primary executive in charge of American Wedding and Curious George.

Samantha Schifrien is a Producer at 93 Cedar - a production company that seeks to create content for Feature and Television distribution. The company will focus on telling inclusive stories from creative with diverse backgrounds. Prior to her role at 93 Cedar, Samantha was a Development Executive at Untitled Entertainment with Michael Rosenberg the executive behind prolific series, including "Hell on Wheels," "Rogue," and "Klondike." Samantha works directly with Michael to find and develop projects for sale to cable networks. Untitled brought in Michael and Samantha to help further build out the management/production company’s television business. They are looking for television projects to find for Untitled's massive roster of on-screen talent. Rosenberg has worked on features including Sundance Jury Prize-winner TREASURE ISLAND, and is best known for executive producing highly successful television series. Rosenberg previously served as EVP U.S. Scripted Television and SVP Original Scripted Series Programming for Entertainment One. He oversaw eOne’s TV Development, Current Programming and Production department. Previously, Samantha worked in International Television Production at NBCUniversal, on the series "Resurrection" for ABC, and Brillstein-Grey Entertainment.
In this Pitch Tank we welcome screenwriter Sam Alper from FX's "Better Things" and the new AMC series, "Kevin Can F*** Himself" to critique television pitches from Writers' Room members. Sam gives excellent insights from the perspective of a working screenwriter who has worked in professional writing rooms with some of the industry's leading show runners and writers.
