We're diving into the Writers' Room Pitch Tank with special guest, Producer Colleen Marshall! Colleen Marshall is a producer who focused on high-concept, character-driven content. Colleen produced the indie film THE BACHELORS, starring Academy Award winner J.K. Simmons, as well as the sequel UNBROKEN: PATH TO REDEMPTION for Universal 1440 Entertainment. She has a number of projects in development and just sold a series to a major streaming platform. Prior to launching her development and production venture, she first worked in the literary department at the Gersh Agency in Beverly Hills. She then helped open the LA-based office of Random House Studios, focusing on book-to-television adaptations.
In this Writers' Room Pitch Tank we welcome special guest, Development Executive Drew Gatto of Captivate Entertainment. Captivate Entertainment is a production company behind the enormously popular JASON BOURNEfranchise, which has grossed over a billion dollars worldwide. At Captivate, Drew works closely with executives across the industry to source strong material and secure IP rights for projects in development. Last summer, he had the opportunity to travel to Budapest to work on Captivate's most recent TV project, "TREADSTONE", which aired on USA Network last fall. Drew started his career at the Gersh Agency where he worked with leading film and television talent, helping them secure roles and develop their careers. He then moved to Imagine Entertainment, where he had the distinct honor of working with Brian Grazer! During the Pitch Tank we hear pitches from members including period thrillers, female-driven dramedy, action, historically-based series, and Sci-Fi adventures!

The Coronel Group is a literary and talent management company based in LA that has a roster of A-List Actors, including Alan Tudyk (Disney Animated Films), Adan Gillen ("GAME OF THRONES"), and Robert Patrick (TERMINATOR -franchise). Mike focusses on project development for Coronel Group's screenwriters and directors through the literary division. Mike has over 10 years of experience representing Actors, writers, and Directors, and he had some excellent insights for those members who pitched. This month we heard pitches for television and features, including a Thriller, Drama, Coming-of-Age story, and more! And two members had their scripts requested by Mike after the session!
