Born and raised in New Jersey, Didi started her career studying acting at the African American Ensemble Company in Harlem New York, and later studied commercials at Bob Collier Success Classes and dance with The Alvin Alley Ensemble Company.
Didi spent her early years singing at the Apollo Theatre in Harlem NY during amateur hour.
She formed her own production company for music talent at Grant Street Productions based in Long Island New York.
Didi was active in the local political arena as campaign manager for a delegate running for council member, while also serving as the entertainment editor for the Community Newspaper.
Didi spent several years as Assistant to the Director of Personnel at The William Morris Agency.
After relocating to Los Angeles California in 2000, she became an actor presently working on Comedy Central’s Workaholics and has received several IMDb credits for her performances.
In 2008, Didi Tillson as a novelist and screenwriter to self-publish her first novel, A Need For Love, established Lighted Mansions Enterprises, LLC. While continuing her acting career and appearances in multiple featured roles, she continues to enhance her abilities to fit the criteria of being successful in all of her endeavors.
