RB's Stage 32 News, Notes, Discussions, and Other Fun Stuff (June 27th, 2014)

Posted by Richard "RB" Botto

Another week in the books.  Who's feeling creative this weekend?  I have some midnight oil to burn with over 50 of the top Lounge discussions, Stage 32 Success Stories, and Stage 32 Meetups - Join the conversation, assist a fellow 32'er, or just simply get inspired.

Under ENTERTAINMENT NEWS, we say goodbye to one of the all-time greats, Eli Wallach, LA loses yet more productions, some takeaways and questions from a sputtering summer box office, 12 of the best and worst Broadway to screen adaptations, a look at how the masses are using (or not using) the internet to buy movie tickets, Conan O'Brien adjusts mid-career to adapt to a social media world, how one film has become a $100 million disaster for its investors, and the most binge watched TV show of all time is.......

Plus, under VIDEOS, I have an awesome look at Martin Scorsese's use of silence in his films, and trailers for the last Gandolfini movie as well as those for the new ones from Kevin Hart and Robert Downey Jr.

And finally, under TIPS, we're dropping some acting, editing, and screenwriting knowledge on ya.

Feel free to discuss any and all in the Comments section below!

Enjoy, and have a creative weekend!
