Improving Your Networking Power

As we like to say around these parts, you're only as good as your network.  To that end, we've made significant changes to our Connect section in an effort to help all Stage 32 members boost their networking power.

Before I outline the changes, a couple of notes.  First, only profiles which have a headshot are eligible to be listed on any of our Connect pages.  Additionally, profiles on Connect now feature profession, Karma, awards, and biographical detail (depending on the search section).  It's never been more important to complete all sections of your profile!  It's been proven that adding a bio alone leads to a 76% greater chance of someone clicking through.  Add credits, awards, etc, and that number jumps even higher.  The more information, the less guesswork and the better your chances of being noticed.

Now on to the features of our new Connect section....

When you click Connect (on the top menu bar), there will be 4 available choices:



1. Search All Members

This allows you to search the entire Stage 32 member base by any or all of the following criteria:  Name, Location, and Occupation.

This is the most targeted member search feature on Stage 32.



2. All Suggestions

These are suggestions based on the professions and location listed on your profile page.  This is an easy way to find like-minded creatives in your area.



3. Friends of Friends

These are stage 32 members who are connected to people in your network.



4. Random

Try your luck!  You never know who you might find on Stage 32.



Remember, thousands of new creatives join Stage 32 each month.  The new Connect section makes it easier than ever to expand your network in a targeted fashion.  We hope you enjoy the features and use them to your advantage.
