Welcome to the weekend everyone. I hope you all had a wonderful Holiday and New Year. This is the first Weekend Blog of the new year, and there is plenty to discuss. 

For starters, under ENTERTAINMENT NEWS I have a few articles on the 2015 Oscar Predictions. 

Also under ENTERTAINMENT NEWS: CitizenFour is premiering on HBO, Sundance 2015 'Art Of Film' Panels announced, Women Directors of the top grossing films of 2014, Rod Taylor, The Birds and The Time Machine, dies at 84, Why Tina Fey and Gillian Anderson are on Netflix and much, much more. 

Of course, I have the latest on the on-going Sony Hack situation. 

Under TIPS, it’s some 411 on filmmaking, acting, editing and screenwriting. Within the VIDEO category, you’ll find the trailers for Ant-Man and Entourage, The Q&A from LACMA's screening of Big Eye, and a tutorial for setting up your Canon 5D MKII.
