Welcome to the weekend, everyone. It was one hell of a week around here. I don't know about you, but I'm ready to kick it back with a cocktail and reflect a little. Plenty happening this week. Let's get to the recap...
Under Entertainment News, I have all the details of the "historic" SAG-AFTRA deal, the Emmy nods and biggest snubs (no Tatiana Maslany? You gotta be s****** me), a great article on feature documentaries and their future at the box office, why comedies are back in vogue in Hollywood, Chris Nolan pontificating on the future of films (again), a cool look back at the brilliance of Roger Ebert, and much, much more.
Very proud to feature some of the major accomplishments of the members of the Stage 32 community. You can find them under Stage 32 Success Stories. I've also highlighted some terrific Lounge discussions and all the Stage 32 Meetups happening around the globe.
Finally, I have some very high profile trailers including David Fincher's Gone Girl and Angelina Jolie's Unbroken as well as filmmaking, cinematography, and screenwriting tips.
As always I ask you to please share this blog on other social media and also welcome you to comment on any of the material below in the Comments section.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Enjoy!
