About Chris

Chris Waymon specializes in artist, business, and production management. His experience as an artist, businessman, & production manager gives him the knowledge he needs to help his clients achieve their dreams. Chris founded Gate City Management in 2012, Gate City was Atlanta's nickname in the 1800's. Growing up in Atlanta shaped his love for the entertainment business. Stemming new and innovative ways to succeed, he books his clients as brand ambassadors, lead and background roles for television, and films. Giving attention and the expertise that an artist needs to build a solid foundation for their career.

Chris implements other aspects of artist development, which will maintain, expand, and enrich the artist's career. Chris has worked with many talented artists in the music industry such as Jermaine Dupri’s So So Def, developing Anthony Hamilton, Bone Crusher, and Young Bloodz, being a background dance for Nivea and booking performers like Lyfe Jennings, J.Holiday and many more. By exploring new opportunities, Chris has paved his way into the movie and television production arena. He has promoted, produced, and executed many live events. He specializes in production of fashion shows, award shows, concerts, and festivals. He has managed productions for companies like Lifetime, Belk, Urban Vs Couture Fashion Shows, and Sweet Auburn Music Festival(SAMF).

His experience in production began to grow and began to shift directions. A major production like SAMF, Chris organizes that entertains over 100k people. Chris IMDb production credits currently host the following, Wistful , Time Captured, and Rainbow Bridge, The Story of Peter and Emily. For 2017 he has help organize private movie premieres for movies such as “It”, “Girls Trip”, Pirates of Caribbean, Dead Man Don’t Tell No Tell”, “Wonder Woman”, just to name a few. Chris is currently working on secured budgets up to 10 million for different movies, with Derrick Worsley and GoodLand Pictures in Los Angeles.

    Film by Stacey Genève Production Producer Justice is a drama feature film about a Black West Indian devoted husband and father Reuben Lezama who falls into a deep depression after the loss of his eighteen year-old son, Justin Lezama and becomes a vigilante just like the man who took his son's life. Reuben Lezama believes he must go on a revenge spree to avenge the killings of five young Black men (one being his son) who were allegedly killed by Whites claiming that they felt threatened, and cited the “Stand Your Ground” law. He is convinced these men who were acquitted for the murders of the young Black boys are now a threat to society and better off dead. However, there is always consequence when you take revenge.

But what they don't know is Stacey secretly is a professional dancer at her brother's club. As Stacey continues to work to take care of herself, she soon faces adversity to keep her secret from everyone else..  Aisha is a religious married Pretrial Detention Officer, who is setting her goals on having family of her own. Aisha is big on interfering in her family's affairs.
