NOTE - This is a remote position. It is NOT based in Oregon, but the system doesn't have anything for "Virtual" or "Online" or "Remote" (other than in Oregon... apparently). I am an American living in Germany, however. Series Logline: With only two Provinces standing, a desperate ploy is launched to end 30 years of Freedom First Party insurgent terror and restore the fallen governments. The secretive but fractured forces of Legion 16 make a final stand using soldiers with unstable abilities that may kill them all. -- I am currently producing my mature (R-rated) science fiction property (also creator, writer, director). This is a self-funded passion project (almost 30 years in the making) that I am releasing on social platforms and YouTube. It's a 3-4-season endeavor (based on the 4 books I've written) with Season 1 completely written (17 episodes) and Season 2 partially written (12 episodes). Episodes range from 15-30 pages in length (modified TV-script format) and have between 5-20 characters (some have but one line), including a narrator in some episodes. IN 2025, PUNC particpants moved on to jobs at TMZ, received film festival awards and nominations for their work, and initiated their own professional series and film projects. We need a Production Assistant, and we need a Rainmaker for donations and corporate partnerships. Both can work remote. For the rainmaker, we pay a % of all investment and all donations coming into the organization, as introduction fees on productions which have financial partners that you have arranged. It follows a gifted, self-destructive musician on the edge of eviction, trying to hold together his band, his family, and one shot at something bigger. It’s a character-driven dramedy rooted in a true story, built around the music of Vic Ruggiero and The Slackers. The tone sits somewhere between Inside Llewyn Davis and Almost Famous. It’s gritty, pre-gentrification NYC. Music isn’t the background of this series – it drives the story. Performances will be shot to feel live and immersive, rather than cutaways. Other comps are Shameless meets Daisy Jones & The Six. We’re planning a contained 18–20-day NYC shoot with two primary venues, minimal moves, and a design that gives the director control over the space, look, and tone. Think less logistical noise, more room to shape a distinct visual language. This pilot is meant to launch a series, and the director will help project the tone made clear in the script – how the music feels, how the city moves, how intimate or chaotic the world becomes. We have full control of the music catalog. Budget is in the $1.1M–$1.4M range, built around efficiency and New York tax incentives.
