Project Overview Title: No Safe House Genre: Action Thriller / Survival / Psychological Drama Logline: A retired pro baseball player with crippling anxiety becomes a survivalist warrior when a ruthless kingpin reclaims his former compound, now the family’s new mountain home. Trapped in the frozen wilderness, he must protect his daughter, confront betrayal, and overcome his deepest fears. This story blends intense survival action, family drama, and psychological themes of anxiety, trust, and redemption. Think Wind River meets A Quiet Place with shades of The Grey. What We’re Looking For • A screenwriter with proven experience in action, thriller, or survivalist genres. • Ability to balance high tension, cinematic action set pieces, and intimate character-driven drama. • Strong understanding of three-act structure and psychological storytelling. • Comfortable collaborating on treatment-to-screenplay expansion with a producer. Responsibilities • Expand the existing treatment into a feature-length screenplay (90–110 pages). • Elevate the script with cinematic dialogue, atmospheric tension, and emotional stakes. • Collaborate with the producer on story adjustments, pacing, and tone. • Deliver professional-quality screenplay ready for pitching and packaging. Compensation • Paid opportunity (rate negotiable, based on experience). • Credit as Screenwriter on the project. • Potential for continued collaboration on future projects.
