Film producer/ screenwriter looking to collab - a job post by William R Ward

About the job

Hi everyone! I am Will an aspiring film producer and screenwriter based in Virginia. I am looking to grow my portfolio and network with other filmmakers. I have written short films, acted as director and cinematographer, and worked as a freelance production assistant for the ABC Network in the past on a few projects. I also interned at the Cannes Film Festival during my undergraduate college years ( back in 2010). I got my master's degree in film producing in 2020.

I would love to help someone on their projects or collaborate and write new film scripts or assist with marketing, casting etc. Currently, in the early process of writing two scripts for films and could use some help. I am located in the Virginia Beach area of Virginia but very open to collaborating virtually with filmmakers. 

Feature Film- Civil Justice

This is a feature film idea that I have which is a superhero  movie. The premise is about a young African American man named Xaiver who gains powers and becomes a super hero during the height of the Civil Rights movement. The story would be an alternate take with the character interacting with real life historical figures as he discovers government secrets and more.  

The other is a short film titled- Bullied

This is a drama/thriller that tackles the impacts of bullying on high school and college aged people. The story follows a popular college student who ends up in a ground hog day time loop trying to prevent his former friend from committing a terrible crime.
