Hi Amy, Do you live in Los Angeles? checkout central casting its the biggest agency for extras. there are others as well if you google extras casting los angeles. You can also find some background work on actorsaccess.com and craigslist.com. the background work on craigslist is pretty much all non union though so keep that in mind. You can also find stuff on backstage.com and mandy.com but those sites cost money.
