I was inspired by Maurice here on Stage 32 — he mentioned spending his Monday preparing for November, and I thought I’d make a post to get other people excited about setting themselves up for success.
November is almost here — are your projects lined up to hit the ground running? Whether it’s 2D, 3D, or stop-motion, the work you put in now sets the tone for the month ahead.
Ask yourself:
Are your storyboards polished and ready to animate?
Have you cleared your schedule for uninterrupted creative time?
Who can you collaborate with this month to level up your animation?
A little prep now saves you from stress later. What’s one thing you’re doing today to make November smoother?

Hey, Cyrus Sales. Great questions to ask yourself. I'm ready for November Write Club. My main goal is finish rewriting a feature script. I might add more goals, like writing a stop-motion short script.

Maurice Vaughan That sounds awesome. I’m going to be doing the Write Club as well. I’m planning to take some time today to really think about what I want to focus on for the challenge this year. Finishing a feature rewrite sounds like a solid goal — and a stop-motion short script would be so fun to tackle too. Excited to see what we all create this month!

Thanks, Cyrus Sales. I'm going to try and think of a stop-motion script idea today. I'm excited to see what we all create this month too! I'm rooting for you to reach your goal!

Working on the first few pages of Serial Twins for a proof of concept webcomic. This is the first page, some clear changes, and things to add, still needed.

Can anyone work on my project? I'm making an anime story and I need an animator and investor.

Maurice Vaughan - what did you end up coming up with?

Rutger Oosterhoff 2 This looks really cool! I tried clicking on it to get a better look, but for some reason, it wouldn’t open on my end. What’s the web series about?

Kevin Jackson congrats on the client projects! What's your personal project about?

Ashish Meena That's a great questionI’d highly recommend taking some time to network with individuals and share your interests in the Job offers section. Maurice Vaughan is there additional places or resources you would recommend for Ashish Meena to locate investors and animators here on stage 32?
Hey, Cyrus Sales. Thanks for asking. I haven't come up with a stop-motion script idea yet. I shared some links with Ashish to help him find investors and animators on here.

This November I have potentially 2 client jobs. One is a website and social media intro animation to for a business the other is a animation to a jingle for an environmental agency.
On a personal level, I am looking forward to advancing two of me IPs.
Hope you get the jobs, Kevin Jackson!

Cyrus, the logline is "Identical twin sisters who moonlight as violent vigilantes must outwit a vengeful copycat who framed them for murdering students on a college campus in Austin, Texas."

Rutger Oosterhoff 2 I don't know too much about webcomics but this sounds interesting. Where can we catch updates on the progress of your project?

Yes, it is, but still needs a lot of work. Slow but steady progress.
