Animation has produced some of the most iconic and emotionally powerful films of all time, blending artistry, storytelling, and innovation. The Times recently published a ranking of the 25 best animated films, featuring classics like Snow White and The Lion King, as well as modern masterpieces like Inside Out and Spirited Away.

Rankings like this always spark debate, so let’s hear it—do you agree with their choices? What’s an animated film that you think deserves to be on this list but was overlooked? Let’s discuss!
My personal favorites on this list are Spider-Verse (which is my favorite movie period), Nightmare Before Christmas, Wall-E, and The Iron Giant which I was THRILLED to see in the #2 spot! I was also pleasantly surprised to see James and the Giant Peach on this list!

I haven't seen some of the films on the list, but I agree with the ones I've seen, Ashley Renee Smith. I'm surprised TOY STORY, TOY STORY 2, and HERCULES aren't on the list.

This is definitely an interesting list. Can't say I agree with most of it, but it's cool to see other points of view.

I've got some big problems with this list. Replace Toy Story 3 with Toy Story 2. And where is Shrek 2? Where is How to Train Your Dragon? And Beauty and the Beast should at teh very least be top-5.

Ugh. I completely agree that How To Train Your Dragon is being unfairly snubbed Brian Smith!

Some of these animations I haven't seen before but I love that some older animation (my childhood favorites) made the list like Spirited Away, My Neighbor Totoro, and James and the Giant Peach. Maybe it's the nostalgia speaking but I'd love to have seen Land Before Time on here. There's plenty of other animations that I feel could have made the list but overall it's an interesting take on the top 25.
