Timelapse on a gimbal - any pro tips?

Just shot this using a 3 axis gimbal on a moving deck at sea. Any suggestions to make it even more stable?

What about in post with DaVinci Resolve, Premier Pro?

Timelapsers, what's your secret?

Maurice Vaughan

Incredible shot, Morgan Aitken!

Both Premiere Pro and DaVinci should be able to stabilize the footage.

There's another application that I hadn't thought about until I submitted the above footage to the team dirt-side doing post... Adobe After Effects apparently can handle the stabilization and it might be an easier learning curve than Premier Pro or DaVinci Resolve. Ahhh, so much to learn, but I love shooting stuff and having it work out.

... was going to mention AE too ...

Gorgeous shot Morgan Aitken ! I've had better luck with stabilization in After Effects than Premiere in my experience.
