Hi group,
This post maybe more post -production, although I wanted to ask about these subwoofers. I have recently read a subwoofer will help hear more the low sounds when the two monitors will not. I’ve been looking into these the past few months.
Composing does mean to have a good ear, as well as having the right gear and equipment to make it happen.
Doing best to stay in the 300-400 range.
I’m not saying which one to buy. I’m only asking if other composers have them which ones are you using?
Thank you for your time.
If this needs to go / move to the post production area, , please go ahead and move it or I can since I’m a moderator. Ha ha
Have a great weekend!

I've got a pair of ADAM S3V's and in my little room I don't feel like I need a sub.

Kerry Kennard I’m in a small bedroom 11x12. At the wall that I sit and face the ceiling is 9’ and it slopes up and the wall behind me is 10’ or maybe more. I’ve got real traps all around and though it’s small it's a very comfortable room for me and really all I need. Most of my sessions here are just myself and a vocalist or an occasional musician. It’s low key, but I keep busy. It’s a constant hustle.
