Getting work tips

Hello all! So I'm a Production Veteran who has worked in almost all aspects of Film Production. I have also been a composer (for myself) for decades, and I'm getting my portfolio together and creating new website dedicated to such. I have been watching endless amounts of YouTube videos, trying to learn as much as I can, but I was wondering if anyone, Composers or Filmmakers, has any tips for getting smaller gigs. I tend to specialize in Minimalist and Ambient work, both with Chamber and some Synth, and I'm looking to score Horror and Suspense/Indie Drama.

Hi, Edmund Lloyd. Stage 32 has a Job Board that gets updated regularly (www.stage32.com/find-jobs).

Looks for 48 Hour Film Project teams on the socials. They usually have local-ish horror themed events in October as well.
