I have been working on an idea of a sitcom. It's more of a dark comedy. The writing process of the first season is almost wrapped up. I don't know what the next step would be. Do I seek help from an agent? If so, how would I do that? I feel lost in this process. Any assistance would come in handy. Thanks.

An agent, or look through different stations looking for submissions. An agent has a little more pull, however. Keep networking!
If people aren't looking for submissions, they will have a no solicitation comment. Look for contests.
How would I acquire an agent?
Look in your area. Run a search, contact them all. Create a resume with everything you have to offer. If no one is interested, find more to offer. Facebook actually has a good means to contact local agents by typing simple searches in the browser.
