I was recently approached by an actor who shall remain nameless at this point. He asked to read my screenplay, Halloween 9. Who believes that this is a step in the right direction?

I do! It will be much easier afterwards if you are recommended by this actor. Imagine that he is interested to play a role in your movie, if you approach a producer with the actor's named stapled to your screenplay, this is a huge + Congratulations, I hope he will like it!
nice way to tell us all some marginally famous person wants to read your script. How'd that work out for you.
