Thanks for your question! I’m not entirely sure which digital festival would be the best for indie filmmakers at the moment. However, I’ve been seriously considering launching one myself soon. The idea is to create a platform tailored specifically to the needs of indie filmmakers, offering opportunities for exposure, feedback, and growth.
To be honest, I think most festivals haven’t fully embraced digitalization. After COVID, many of us thought the shift to digital would be much stronger, but it seems things reverted to the old ways. While some festivals have the basics in place, I feel there’s a real lack of innovation. There’s so much potential for engaging filmmakers and audiences in new ways that’s currently untapped.
