With the help of many volunteers from the Capital Film Arts Alliance in Sacramento, CA, I completed shooting a short film that's a dark comedy. My editor and I are working on a rough cut that we hope to complete by the end of this month. Then we''ll get some notes from the producers and add the extra stuff. And maybe I'll start another short script (after I complete my feature sci fi script! Lol.) Lots to learn, lots to do.
Hi, Jeffery Ogata. Congratulations on finishing shooting your short film! I'm looking forward to watching it, and I'm cheering you and your editor on to reach those goals!

You're welcome, Jeffery Ogata. Thanks. I try to be. I haven't got the hang of writing Dark Comedies yet, but I like watching them. And Sci-Fi is one of my favorite genres to write and watch.

Congrats on completing your short! The great thing with shorts is that they can also be used as a proof of concept for a feature or TV series!

Thanks, Jackie. This was a learning project for me with no attachment to anything else I'm writing so we'll see how it turns out.
