I made a "close to no budget" short film a couple of times. One of them, "Calls", got a small distribution deal. This was actually a student film (I am the world's oldest film student at 52) I did at the local community college film program, with students who were in their first year of schooling. What I learned is that you should always take a swing. You never know what will happen! Good luck on the project!
Congratulations on Calls getting a small distribution deal, Brandon Keeton! You're right. You should always take a swing. You never know what will happen! That's what I do when I pick script ideas to write and when I pitch. Thanks for sharing your experience.
