As filmmakers, we all want to make movies that other people resonate with and enjoy, but that often means fielding criticism and the dreaded "note" from collaborators, peers, friends, etc. in post-production. In the latest issue of MovieMaker Magazine I discuss a specific note I had to address, which at first I considered an obstacle, but later realized it was an opportunity lying in wait. Check out the article in Moviemaker: http://www.moviemaker.com/archives/series/how_they_did_it/inserting-cuts... And then check out the scene in my film "Don't Look Back" that changed...for the better.
