I love hearing about different distribution strategies for films, and Art House films are particularly close to my heart.
Whether your films are Art House or not, the strategies for independent films highlighted here are worth taking note of. From the pre-screenings strategy, the appeal to local audiences and the films rebranding in different territories; the production of collectables and story-related events are a testimony to Distribution Companies like Arthaus and Aerofilms and their imaginative and thinking outside of the box processes.
What do you think about these strategies?

I am so with you, Geoff Hall - I believe we are entering an amazing era for independent film and innovative distribution strategies. I am all for them. Its great to work in the system, but the goal is to make films and shows that reach audiences and companies like Arthaus and Awerfilms are showing how possible it all is. I expect to see a lot more. Great share!

Sam Sokolow thanks Sam. Arthaus and Aerofilms just fuel my imagination with the possibilities for Seeing Rachel. They have a great way of developing a broad view of possible markets for a film. The article was a great read.
