The Crow dissapoints at the Box Office

This was a long time coming and highly anticipated but it bombed pretty bad. What do you think? Is horror in a new place? Too make reboots? Poor timing at the end of August? Would love your thoughts on why this release didn't land. https://variety.com/2024/film/news/la-bamba-remake-development-mucho-mas...

I watched the trailer twice, Sam Sokolow. The movie doesn't look interesting to me. And it feels like the reboot doesn't know what it wants to be. A Crow movie or a John Wick movie.

The Crow Popcorn bucket was kinda cool looking; and I saw the Crow reboot and I was bored from opening minute. Looked like a SAW gore- porn type movie. The main actor is supposedly an up And Coming Talent. I didnt care for his character or any characters.

Anyways, I have no idea how studio exes and filmmakers make decisions; I doubt they, cast & crew, decided from jump to make a trash movie.

( had a feeling the movie would stink because the opening credits had over 15 Exec Producers listed)
