Anything Goes : Terminator Genisys Review: The series needed more emotion and less simplicity by Teresa D. Lee

My ‪#‎TerminatorGenisys‬ disagrees with a lot of critics about plot confusion and lack of violence. The plot could be read two ways, as either a simple "blow up the base" set piece, or the greater sandbox of new stories created by Sarah Conner being given greater agency to change her life while also feeling a total loss of free will due to her responsibility to prevent the apocalypse. I thought Genisys undid damage to the series from the third and fourth films and returned to the more emotive character portrayals in T2: Judgement Day. http://j.mp/1KQDS2R Does the marketing really change any of the artistic decisions that were made? It's a Sarah Connor-centric Terminator movie that is going to make the story way more interesting by reversing assumptions about all the old characters.
