Super excited to announce that I've just optioned the screenplay 9/10 (www.910movie.com). The film tells four stories that take place inside the World Trade Center the night before September 11, 2001. The excellent screenplay (written by very active Stage32 member Richard Willett) has received numerous accolades, including top 30 at Nicholl, Austin Film Festival screenplay contest semifinalist, and most recently winner of the diversity award at the Cynosure Screenwriting Competition. We will be using four different directors (one for each of the vignettes), and the project is being produced on on a nonprofit basis, with all profits going to support survivors of 9/11.
