I paid for development notes from a studio exec. Was stoked to get a shot to submit this script to this company's exec. I also paid for written pitches with 3 other managers. Long story short, somehow I missed the email from Stage 32 informing me that he had delivered his notes. I waited...and waited...and not wanting to be a pain in the ass, waited some more. I finally "dug in" to the system and found that the exec had timely delivered the notes. I got a "consider" with some very specific notes on how to improve the script. I feel like I wasted 6 weeks by not being more on the ball.
I've polished the script and hope I've satisfactorily addressed his notes. I hope I get a shot to submit the script again and the consider turns into a real potential to get a movie made.
Lesson: stay on top of the notifications from Stage 32 if you have something being looked over. :).
It's hard to know when or if you are making progress. Keep a level head and don't be too disappointed by a "pass." But be wise with your budget on how to proceed on getting your material "out there." That's all I've got. Good luck to all. !! Happy writing.

Good advice, I just checked mine! :)
Yeah, I've had great results in terms of the timeliness of the coverage through Stage32. But I've done exactly what you're referencing on other platforms. Ugh.
