Hello,
I have been a member here for a few years now but I am just now starting to explore this site again after traveling around and finishing time consuming production projects.
I recently left Los Angeles and I feel really good about that decision. I am currently based in Portland Oregon and I am looking forward to getting involved in remote projects as well as local collaborations.
Over the last year I have been learning how to produce an authentic sounding orchestral score using virtual instruments. It's not an easy thing to achieve and I discovered that it requires investing in some high quality string and brass virtual libraries which I finally did. Some good convolution reverb like Altiverb also helps. I feel confident in the sounds that these new libraries make and I am excited to do more orchestral scores without having it sound like a mock track.
You can find out more about my favorite film composers by reading my blog:

Who are your favorite film composers?
I look forward to speaking with all of you more about your projects and I am here to offer advice and participate in anyway that time allows.
Bright stars to you******
