Introduce Yourself : DSLR Camera Operator by Garry Willis

I live in Los Angeles' Silver Lake neighborhood for over twenty years. I;m an Emmy winning news cameraman, and a twenty-five year veteran of television news, working for broadcast and cable news networks, and for local stations in Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Albuquerque. A progressive political activist, I was elected to the Los Angeles Democratic Party Central Committee, and the Silver Lake Neighborhood Council. I was a Federal Officer at LAX for ten years until my retirement last year. I aspire to get back into camera work, my first love, using my High Definition Nikon D7100 camera rig with Beachtek xlr adapter for documentary and low budget theatrical productions.
