Introduce Yourself : Fight Director, Stage Combat Teacher, Weapon Maker by Nathan DeCoux

Hey, Folks! I'm an NYC based fight director (contemplating a move to Michigan in the fall) with 17 years experience. I've been teaching for 12 years and I'm a certified teacher with the SAFD. I'm the resident FD with my wife's company, Mortal Folly Theatre. I teach at AMDA NY, and with Swordplay Stage combat, NYC's longest-lived private stage combat school. I also run Gotham Armory (www.gothamarmory.com), where I makes all manner of shiny stage and film weapons out of aircraft aluminum. I just finished up a Romeo and Juliet at York College, and I'm settling in to do some contract work for the armory. I'm looking forward to a fight-filled summer! Lovely to meet you all!
