I’m Justin — radio voice by day, screenwriter by obsession, and probably the only guy in Tasmania who’s spent the last year writing a TV comedy about fake seniors with latex wrinkles. My series Charli & Jude just made its way into the Stage 32 portal (insert mild panic here), and I’m excited to finally connect with other creatives who know what it’s like to rewrite a single line of dialogue 17 different ways before coffee. Former child star? Check. Fake retirement community? Yep. Special effects makeup, secret identities, and a whisper of Aaron Sorkin? All in there. It’s weird. It’s heartfelt. It’s mine. Would love to meet fellow writers, producers, actors — anyone passionate about storytelling with humour and heart. If you’re up for a script swap, a rant about formatting, or just want to say hi, I’m all ears (and probably editing something). Let’s make some noise.

Hey Justin! That premise is hilarious and so out there! It must get made so we can watch it! I’d love to script swap.
My half hour dramedy is “Nuns On A Mission” - when the Sisters find out their convent is in foreclosure they decide to open a comedy club in the basement to raise funds…not expecting to battle scheming priests, a ruthless lawyer and merciless mobsters to save their sacred home.
Dm me if you’d like to swap.

Justin Coombes-Pearce I completely read your intro with an Aussie accent and it completely made my day!! #haveathingforaccents #andaussies haha your script sounds hilarious and makes me think of when Jackass dresses up as the "old man" only perhaps less crude? Or not? LOL <3

Rosie Schreiber Hahahaha I bet you nailed the accent. Mine isn't as crude as Jackass but hopefully as funny.... It's definitely as silly at times... nothing better than a good giggle :P
