Introduce Yourself : Greetings! by Mark Isaacson

Hey gang, my name is Mark Isaacson and I'm a writer, director, actor and editor based all the way downstairs in Perth, Western Australia. I came across the site hoping to find a place where I could share my experiences in film and get the word out there about my projects. Though Perth is small, there's a good community out here just waiting to find a place in the world. It's exciting to be a part of it. My current project is Mars, a short web series that's still fresh faced (you can find it here - http://youtu.be/9ykodiNNUSc), but I'm hoping to build on a number of ideas I've had over the years that I'm only now finding the time to complete. I've studied screenwriting at the Film and Television Institute in Fremantle, WA, but most of my skills have come purely from a love of the industry and the imagination. I'd love to one day own and operate my own production studio that allows the youth of our community a place to create and promote their own work through various means, without having to worry about equipment or budgets. Who knows, maybe one day I'll make it happen. There's more about me, but I'll leave it at that for now. Glad to be here!
