Introduce Yourself : Hello by Brian Keon

Brian Keon

Hello

My name is Brian Keon just getting into voice acting my self, one of the problems I have is using only my computer in a closet is where I record (not having access to a studio has it's drawbacks) Do you have a studio that you us? If not how do you handle the quality of your recording?

Shadow Dragu-Mihai, Esq., Ipg

Computer in a closet is fine... use clothes and carpets for sound-deadening. Sound quality is of course affected by the make and quality of your microphone and other recording equipment. If you are using a web-mic then it's not going to matter much...

Thanks for the input I really appreciate it.

I previously built a studio in an old apartment during college and i used egg cartons and blankets for sound-deadening. Worked pretty great

Interesting solution to that issue. How did it work for you?
