My name is Grady. I'm new. I'm a screenwriter. And, I don't know what the hell I'm doing.
Guess I shouldn't tell everybody that, but I'm tired of pretending I know anything about anything.
I write screenplays. According to many people, I write them well. One of my best friends since childhood is an A-List Actor. Even he loves my scripts, but he doesn't know what my path forward should be. He says he'll help me out, but first I have to open up to people, and try to become "a part of the community." I'm not even sure what the hell that means. But, I'm trying.
See, I'm not a real social butterfly. I live in a little log cabin in the deep woods in Texas. I'm fairly reclusive. I guess by joining these sites and finally sharing my work I'm trying to open up. Trying to see if my work is really worth a damn.
I'm all about the writing. I don't care about being famous. As a matter of fact, the idea of it scares the living shit outa me. But, I do want to share my work with as many people as I possibly can. I want to communicate with the world. So, I'm a bit of a walking contradiction. But, who the hell isn't in some way?
I'm here. I'm trying. I'm honest.

I'm trying to get him to do that Vitaly. He has laid out specific things he wants me to do first. I'm doing them now. And, I never said "superior." I just said I have some scripts, and people like them. If and when that happens, I'll keep you in mind. Cheers!
Thanks for the advice Jeff. I have an entertainment lawyer. I haven't done anything with him yet, but he seems like a good guy.
I have the log line and the treatment. I'll ask him about the agent once I get further along in this exciting new endeavor.

Welcome to Stage32, Grady! I agree with you on the fame situation, I'm not fond of stalkers and not being able to go into a store without getting mobbed. But getting your work out there is definitely a goal! If you need anything, feel free to let me know.
