Introduce Yourself : Hello Stage32! by Morgan McCrosson

Greetings and Salutaions,

My name is Morgan and I am currently a first year film student at SCC (Scottsdale Community College). I am 43 years old and am just now following my dreams of becoming a film maker. Honestly, since starting school I am questioning my whole life and wish I could go back and tell my 10 year old self religiously watching Twin Peaks that I should have gone to film school immediately. However, life happens as it does, and many starts and stops later I have this opportunity that I am not taking for granted. So here I am posting on Stage 32 just hoping to make some connections to learn and grow from!

I am interested in almost aspects of film making. Writing for film/TV but also production, sound, props, set and production design and hopefully eventually directing. I have a lot of skills just by living life and having various sometimes strange jobs. I have a few short stories that were published in my college literary magazine and my undergrad thesis was short stories, poetry and collage. I have a lot of ideas and pent up creativity! I know they say don't quit your day job but I cannot wait for the day that I can.
