Introduce Yourself : Hello all -- I'm Lisa Iannucci -- heading back to a dream by Lisa Iannucci

Recently joined and always wanted to be a screenwriter. Studied film/tv in college and then life took me in a different direction. I ended up working as a freelance print journalist for many years, writing books and magazine articles. My husband died when my kids were little, so I had to do what I had to do to pay the bills and didn't really have much time for me. My youngest graduates high school next week, so over the past year I've been getting back to what I've always wanted to do. I started reading more about screenplays, jotting down ideas, etc. I'm working on a comedy and a drama as well as a TV pilot. I'm hoping to pitch at StoryExpo in September. I even optioned a book that I really enjoyed and am working with the author on getting that done. I hope this will all start to make my dreams of being a screenwriter (and TV writer) come true FINALLY. I'm learning so much and hope to get to know many of you along the way.
