Hi everyone, my name is Sylvain Blanchot and I worked in the video games industry for 11 years first as a 3D artist then as a Game Director. In 2010, I won the prize for debut novel in the International Film Festival of Beaune (France). I published my second novel in 2013 and I also wrote a few short films. Three of them have been produced. Specializing in the Thriller genre, I devote myself now to write screenplays and seeking representation for scriptwriting.
I have a few series and feature film projects in the works. Don’t hesitate to get in touch or to add me to your contacts – and best luck for everyone!

That's great, and winning with the very first novel of yours would be definitely a great boost, I also work in the thriller genre, more specifically Crime-thriller. So what makes you more connected to the thriller genre? For me, it is that in most of the portrayals of the story the crime sequences are good, but they do show the mistakes and a way to sneak in. But, what makes me move is that how can we write a story in which the crimes done are impeccable.

Welcome, Sylvain. Great to hear about your writing accolades. May they continue into writing for the screen. Here if you ever want to talk about the craft.
