Hello Stage 32 family!
I’m Sandra Isabel Correia, a writer and director, and I’m currently packaging my short film The Misstep for a feature. Storytelling for me is about hope, transformation, and connection. I believe cinema has the power to heal and to spark new ways of seeing the world.
I want to give a heartfelt welcome to all new members joining us at Stage 32 Community. You’ve found a community that thrives on creativity, collaboration, and encouragement. Dive in, share your WHY, and let’s grow together.
And don’t forget—on December 29th we’ll gather for the Stage 32 Open House with Ashley Smith. It’s always an inspiring event, full of energy and opportunity. You can find details here: https://www.stage32.com/education/products/stage-32-s-december-community...
Finally, I’m thrilled to share the second poster for The Misstep—created by an incredible ADHD creative whose vision brought fresh energy to the project. This collaboration reminds me how diverse perspectives enrich our art and make our stories stronger.
And as one of the Stage 32 Moderators for Lounges and Webinars, I’m honored to help guide conversations, celebrate your creativity, and keep our community vibrant because in this community, every voice is a spotlight, and every story deserves its red carpet.
Cheers <3

Hi, Sandra Isabel Correia! I like the poster. It reminds me of movie posters from the 80s, 70s, etc.

OK THAT is a cool poster Sandra Isabel Correia. I'm with Maurice...it reminds me of something from the 70s or 80s and that's what I love about it! Happy IYW!!

Hi, Maurice Vaughan. That’s such a wonderful compliment, thank you! I love that you felt the retro vibe; it was very intentional. The Misstep takes place today, but it could just as easily live in the 70s or 80s, because ADHD is a state of mind that exists outside of time. The creator, who has ADHD, has a deep love for vintage and retro aesthetics, and his unique perspective lets him see our reality in a different way. I wanted the poster to reflect that timelessness and celebrate his vision.
It was important to me that The Misstep’s poster felt cinematic and timeless, so hearing it reminds you of those classic 70s and 80s posters means a lot. Those eras had such bold, evocative artwork. Thank you, my friend. Happy IYW :))

Leonardo Ramirez 2, thank you! I’m so glad you love the poster. That retro feel was very intentional. The Misstep may be set today, but it carries a timeless quality that could easily belong in the 70s or 80s. ADHD, after all, is a state of mind that isn’t bound by time, and the creator’s love for vintage aesthetics gave the design its unique edge. Happy Introduce Yourself Weekend, and thank you for celebrating it with me!

I totally support your mission to lift the consciousness of humanity through the media. That is mine, also. My animated / live action musical, The MicroCosmic Cartoon Show, will further that mission.
Do check out the promo work at www.premaroseproductions.com
I look forward to seeing anything more you can share.

You're welcome, Sandra Isabel Correia. I don't see ADHD in a lot of scripts, movies, and shows. I might write a script about it. Happy IYW!
