Hi Julie Leon! I've had three short films go through the festival circuit over the years and it's been such a great experience! Wasn't able to attend most of them in person which is a bummer of course, but the exposure and recognition of the shorts was so valuable!

Welcome to the community, Julie! I have had several short and feature length films premiere at festivals. The experiences were great - and my biggest takeaway was that those events are not the ending but really meant to be a jumping off point to build momentum for the films and the career.
