Nice to have you here Philippe! How are you finding the US market in comparison to the France market you worked in?
Hi Amanda, In France you can have multi position, I mean I had a post prod and I mixed, do composition music and sound design, here it's like you can't do several things, you have to be composer or mixer or sound designer, if not, people are suspicious...it's different for this. But the same thing is that you have to built a strong network if you want to succeed!
Certainly agree that the strong network is crucial no matter what. It's impressive that you have such a vast skill set for post - mixing, composition, sound design, etc. What was your inspiration to get into music?
It was an evidence, my parents had a band, my sisters are pianist and singer (actually famous in France, Liane Foly) , I started to play drums.... What about you? I saw you are manager and director in Stage 32, but do you play music? Are you Acting?
