I’m a published author now writing screenplays. I have three first drafts done, plus one pilot for a SCI-fi/horror and one completed screenplay currently making the rounds of various contests. That one, Chameleon, won the Forest City Film Festival last year.
My current WIP is in its second draft, going through some massive changes including location. It’s a feature now called Lords of Cabbagetown and is set in Toronto, Canada. The logline is “An ex-gay-porn actor having a midlife crisis discovers he has a twenty-one-year old son from a
high school fling he doesn’t even remember.” It’s my first real attempt at a dramedy. So far, I’m liking the results.

Hi Pat Brown! Are you in the Writers' Room? I co-host the Monday night "Coverage Report" along with Lit Kilpatrick (who started it), Kay Ross, and Dustin Quinteros. It's about a dozen people giving feedback on each other's work and learning from produced screenplays too, if you're interested!

Hi Pat, it's nice to meet you. What other forms do you write in? Are you doing any screenplay adaptations of your own work?
