Hi. I develop edutainment products for pre-K to 12th grade. I am currently promoting my Koko and Friends animated series for children ages 5-9. The series is about “A family of precocious grade-school bugs who confront bullying and the stigmas of being “from the wrong side of the tracks” while pursuing their dreams of becoming all-star basketball players.” This project was birthed as a result of my then eight-year-old daughter attempting suicide due to bullying. I was able to harness the power of storytelling using young human-like bugs to engage her in conversation where I could see her world through her eyes. My goal is for Koko and Friends to help children acquire the social and emotional skill sets they need to take a stand against bullying and create a culture where all children “belong” and feel included.
Welcome, Clara. That sounds like a brilliant project. I love the graphic. All the best.
Thank you!
That's soooo cool!
